My name is Alicia Musgrave and I am the owner/director of The Dreamtree Daycare. I have been working with children for the past ten years, and love what I do! I have a completed degree in Early Childhood Education- specializing in Child and Family studies, from Ryerson University. I am CPR and Standard First Aid Certified and have an up-to-date criminal reference check.
The Dreamtree Daycare is self-contained. One floor of my house is completely dedicated to being a child-centred environment.
At The Dreamtree Daycare the focus is to provide children with an engaging environment where they can learn and grow. Daily activities are used as a means of expanding on the interests of the children and helping them learn about their world through contexts that they relate to. At The Dreamtree Daycare, we understand that children learn through play, and so our program is designed to foster the imagination and curiosity of children.
The daycare is equip with a vast array of materials and toys in order to provide the children with ample opportunity to progress in all areas of their development. Children will participate in both individual free-play as well as guided group activities, because at The Dreamtree Daycare we are a community and so we learn together.
The Dreamtree Daycare provides, breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack and all food is prepared on-site.
At Dreamtree we believe that communication between family and daycare is integral to the happiness and well-being of the child and therefore keep a white board of daily information like, nap times, diaper changes, food intake for parents to review upon pick up. This ensures that parents can communicate concerns or desired changes in daily routine if the need arises.

*Although my family and our pets do not reside in the daycare( we keep pets out of the daycare) there is a cat in the house so please note if your child has a particularly SEVERE allergy*
