I operate a small licensed family childcare with a maximum of five children to ensure quality care. I hold my Early Childhood Care and Education certificate from Capilano University along with many infant/toddler and special needs courses, currently I am working on obtaining my degree.
I run a program that is based on respecting children and responding to their interests ( Reggio Emelia philosophy). Learning through play and using our imaginations is something we do lots of here through various activities indoors and out. I hope to help children use their imaginations more by using open ended materials, natural products and not overwhelming them with dozens and dozens of toys being out all at once.
I have a large outdoor play space with a garden, sandbox and 'forest' play area. I am conveniently located close to the library, playgym and several parks.
I am interested in working together with families who are comfortable having open communication so your son or daughter can have the best environment to learn and grow in.
Admission conditions
I currently have availability two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) for drop in care. Drop in care can be booked in advance or last minute notice if the space is still available.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
