KidsRcool2 Day Home is located in the Evanston/Kincora/Sage Meadows area of the NW not far from Stoney Trail. A NO television policy, nutritious snacks/meals with no preservatives (natural) and mostly organic, stimulating activities each day, with daily arts and crafts, regular outdoor playtime, fieldtrips, children’s music, story time, dress up/dramatic play, baking, free play, circle time, safety checks of the home including safety gates, locked up medications/vitamins, fire drills, lots of toys for infants to school age, weekly program planning, and colorful playrooms! I have 17 years of dayhome experience, 3 children of my own that are school age and older, current First Aid, CPR, and police securities, a non-smoking home, and a shy and friendly cat that prefers to sleep most of the day away from the children. I focus on giving new opportunities to learn everyday skills, a lot of TLC, and encouragement to learn self independence including ways to build a high self esteem! A home away from home that is fun, learning the ABC’s and 123’s, nurturing, and active! Healthy nutrition supports staying active such as dancing, jumping, climbing, running, and playing sports which also keeps children focused on their goals, and less likely to fall to peer pressure and/or bullying. I currently have 3 spots for children to drop in, part time, and/or full time. My 11 year old son, and a 1 year little girl are currently in my dayhome and are looking for more playmates! My program planning, menus, and references are available. Fees are based on age of child, hours needed, which are flexible and competitive to the community.
