Good Day Everyone,
I have been working in the child care industy for over 15 years and I have my ECA ( Early Child Care Assistant ) from my many years of experience! I am here to give the daycare centre feel and program but in the comfort of my home.
My hours are from 8:00am to 5:15pm but I have some flexibility for the hours if there is a need.
My husband and myself have our police checks, vulnerable screen. childrens aid society check as well as our first aid and CPR which is renewed every year. We have our house fully insured to have your children in our home as well as we have our dog insured and current with all his shots.
I provide daily emails and communication to parents in regards to your childs day. You will recieve a weekly calendar providing the theme of the week, creative, reading circle, sensory, music circle, dramatic play, word of the week, shape of the week, color of the week, sometimes will have a cooking activity for that week and morning circle songs. I strongly believe in positive reenforcement and building positive social and mental development.
I also provide home cooked meals and snacks. You will be provided with a menu as a guide line.
I also observe all statutory and civic holidays as well as I take two weeks paid vacation per calendar year. Six months advance notice for my vacation will be given.
I provide tax reciepts every tax season.
I also like having an open and honest relationship with each parent and child.
I help each child with potty training, learning to use utencils, drinking from a cup etc.
I take the children outside as much as possible to the local parks, trails and splash pads. I believe showing the kids what I am teaching is the best way they learn.
I teach the children basic sign language when they are infants and as they get older they are encouraged to use their words.
Full-time child care is $45.00 per day for 5 days. Part-time child care is $50.00 per day for 4 days or less.
