I have had my day home for 4 years now and love it! I couldn't see myself doing anything else. I have 2 boys of my own ages 7 and 5. Prior to running day home I worked with agencies that provided in home care for children and adults with disabilities. Of course being a mom I wanted to spend more time with my kids.. so day home seemed to be perfect for my family and myself. I am very energetic, patient and loving. I care for all children as if they were my own...we are a day home family. I believe in free play and self expression..kids need to be kids. We have a lot of fun dancing, painting, reading, playing games and baking. We enjoy as much outdoor play as our wonderful Alberta weather permits! I want to provide a home away from home for your child. I want them to feel safe and confident in their surroundings. We are a non-smoking home but enjoy the love of our dog Murphy.
We just built a new home in Reunion with day home space a priority. The basement is currently being finished specifically for day home! It's a bright walk out basement space..and I'm very excited to get it finished! I am very invested in my day home and the children I care for.
I would prefer long term children..it's hard for children to have kids come and go. I believe stability and consistency is key in childhood development. I am here to work with you to ensure your child is safe and secure.
I provide healthy meals and snacks.
In the past 4 years I have had families come and go from Day home. Some have moved, taken maternity leave or decided to stay at home with their children. References are available and I am happy to give them!
My hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm. There can be flexibility with time of pick up.
Full-time is $700.00/month
Part -time is $500/month (12 days/month)
Before & After school is $350/month
Day rate is $40.00/day

Admission conditions
We do enjoy the love of our 2 dogs. They have been brought up with day home kids and are very friendly and loving. They do have their own space in the house and are not roaming free all day.
We live near the bus stop if children need to be transported to and from school. ( Both of my boys ride the bus)
My children will be attending the new school being built in Reunion/ Williams town in September.
