I am a loving mother of 3. I have an ECE background and over 20 years experience in childcare both in and out of traditional daycare settings. I also have some previous experience with children with special needs.
We have a safe, clean and child friendly home with a fenced in backyard with plenty to keep us busy.(ie: cozy cottage, sandbox, toys and more) We like to have different daily outings and activities to keep us busy. (ie: parks, picnics, walks, water play and more just to name a few)
With all of this activity of course comes a healthly appetite so we have nutritious meals and snacks to keep us happy, healthy and energetic. Lots of play, music, singing songs, reading, crafts and more for our indoor acivities as well as special events such as birthday parties and celebrating holiday events.
For parents peace of mind, each child has a journal that goes home daily to let parents know about daily activities etc.
Our days roughly look like the following:
7:45 Breakfast
8:15 take school aged children to school
9:30 Circle/Learning time (Numbers, Letter, Animals, Shapes or doing crafts)
9:45 Snack time
10:00 Nap time (For the Little ones still having 2 naps a day)
11;30 Lunch time
12:15 -1:00Story time/Singing songs - Nap/Quiet time
2:45 Pick up school children
4:00 Snack time - Free playtime wether in/outdoors
Hours and rates may vary upon special requests. We are near such schools as Prince of Peace and Jersey Public School.
Part time and Before and after school children are always welcome(Different rates will appy)I am only looking for 1-2 children as I like to keep my numbers low in order to give each child as much individual attention as possible.
