I have been offering daycare in my home for 19 years in the West end of Ottawa. I offer a fully enclosed supervised backyard (no pool) with lots of room to run around. Ride on toys, two toddler play structures with a park nearby. I serve healthy homemade lunches and snacks. We enjoy crafts, circle time with song, stories and lots of giggles.
My goal is to provide a safe environment for your children, where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Our most important task each day is to have FUN!
I have volunteered at schools and a daycare and have excellent references. I have Child/Infant CPR, and my Police check up to date also, I have daycare insurance for home. Child Development Certificate has been completed and currently learning ASL.
My daycare is easily accessible. As you can see on the map view, I am close to the 417 on/off ramps (I have cared for children from Barrhaven, Bells Corners and even as far as Kemptville).
I am within walking distance of St. Daniel Catholic School and Agincourt Public School.
Admission conditions
I do have one very sleepy cat:), and I am not peanut free.
