I have been offering daycare in my home for over 7 yrs. in the West end of Ottawa. My goal is to provide a safe environment for your children, where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Our most important task each day is to have FUN!
I have volunteered at schools and daycares for the past 5 years and have excellent references. I started care giving as a favour for a friend, and realized how rewarding it was. I have Child/Infant CPR, and my Police check up to date as of November, 2010. Several childcare courses have also been completed.
