I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 10 years experience in the field. I have worked with all ages from infancy to school aged and was a supervisor of an Oakville childcare centre for 5 years. I have two young children, so I have decided to bring my skills home and offer everything you would get from a centre in the comfort of a home.
I am originally from Montreal, so am fluent in French and will be incorporating it into the program.
Weekly program plans will be posted with the activities and themes that we will be doing during the week and you will see that it has a wide range of activities focusing on all developmental areas. Some activities include:
- Learning circle
- Creative (art)
- gross/fine motor
- Cognitive activities
- Music and movement
- Science
- and more....
We go outside twice daily either in the backyard, going for a walk on the trails, or going to the parks.
Healthy homemade meals are always provided and a menu will be posted so that you know what your child will be eating throughout the week.
I am first aid/cpr trained and renew it on an annual basis and have a police check.
I also provide parents with electronic daily reports that are automatically sent to your email on a daily basis letting you know how your child ate, slept, and what they enjoyed during the day.
If you want your child to have all of the learning from a centre based childcare centre, but with more flexability and one on one, this is the place for you.
