Where your little monkeys can play, laugh and learn all day long.
***MAIN FLOOR DAYCARE***
I am a mother of a 3 year old little boy and a 5 year old little girl. I have decided to take a leave of absence from the work world to stay home and give the best care to my children. My focus is to give my full attention to the children. I have over 15 years of experience with children, First Aid and CPR certified geared towards infant and children, CCPRN Member, police check and I guarantee that if you place your child in my care you will not be disappointed!
All activities are done on the main floor of the house and include:
* Music and Movement - It releases endorphins, stimulates blood flow to improve the concentration of your child.
* Circle time and Literacy - “Literacy” refers to language, reading and writing development which starts at early stage!
* Circle time and Numeracy - “Numeracy” refers to using mathematical skills and apply them in understanding the world.
* Games - Stimulating thinking skills are important at this age. It lays the foundation for future formal learning.
*Arts and Crafts - Sensory activities are excellent – things that your child can touch and understand the different sensations (ie. soft, hard, rough....,etc.). Experience is part of the learning.
*Outdoor play weather permitting - We have a large fenced backyard as well as a park with a play structure down the street
* Gardening - Starting in the early winter time
*Baking - I will offer a healthy and nutritious lunch and snacks based on Canada's Food Guide provided on a monthly schedule.
*Singing
*Dancing
* Writting skills
I am a firm believer in a bathroom schedule (How many times in a day your little one goes). I also encourage potty training as my daughter and son was fully trained and out of diapers at 20 months.
This is a smoke free house without pets.
I will provide you with a brief report card at the end of the day with your child’s progress. I also encourage parents and myself to work as a team to keep the lines of communication open to better meet the evolving needs of your children.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
