Hello
We are looking for 1 new friend to join our group. We keep it low ratio and never care for more then 4 children.
I am a mom to 2 girls 5 and 3. They will both be attending St. Andrew's next year we are located on the bus route. I have been providing care in our home since 2011. I am a very hands on provider.
I believe in play based learning I like to follow the child's interest and cues. I focus also on weekly themes as well as school readiness. I also fit all themes and learning trips based on children't interests. We read a minimum of 3 books a day. We are a tv free daycare although we do watch the occasional educational show or movie.
Our daycare includes
- 2 different playrooms
(one main floor play area filled with many smaller toys for babies and young children)
(one large playroom in the basement with many many toys and games)
- seperate nap area for all children to allow them the most relaxed of quiet times
-circle time, songs, daily weather chart, morning book
- daily outdoor playtime minimum of 1 hour a day at the 3 local parks (weather permitting)
- daily storytime before quiet time (each child gets to pick one book)
- craft time based on weekly theme or what the children want to do that day or the season we are currently in or special holiday.
- healthy, homemade snacks and lunches provided. Low sugar and made to suit dietary needs.
I am fully CPR and first aid certified, have a smoke free and pet free home
- large backyard with sandbox, climbing structure and plenty of room to run around and play.
- WE ARE POOL FREE (we do have a water table and a sprinkler for summer fun)

Admission conditions
There are several forms that I must have completed and in my possession before I can assume the responsibility of caring for your child. The forms are as follows:
• Signed Handbook and Financial Agreement
• Child Profile
• Contact Information Sheet
• Permission and Consent Form
Also I request a two-week security deposit to 'hold your space' This deposit will be credited towards your first two weeks of childcare.
