I am a mother of 4 children with my Early Childhood Education diploma and over 10 years experience. I have my First Aid/CPR and a certificate in First Words.
My home is smoke-free, and has a large backyard complete with a trampoline, play structure, fenced-in pool and lots of toys. I have a beautiful playroom in the basement.
In the mornings, we follow a schedule of free play time, snack, circle time, craft time, then outdoors until lunch time. Children have nap, and then it's snack time where we venture outdoors again. Our morning outdoor play can consist of going in the yard, for neighbourhood walks, to the park or on child-sized hikes to learn about nature.
We have healthy snacks and lunches (although we do have treats). Little Friends Daycare is built on love, education and respect.
Although this is a home daycare, I do my best to maintain the professionalism parents would find in a daycare centre. :)

Admission conditions |

Parents are given a daycare information pamphlet and are asked to fill out paperwork (contract, emergency form, etc) prior to admission.
Please note: we have pets in our home. They are very much used to having children around, so therefore please rest assured that our pets are very loving and understanding. When they wish to not be bothered, they hide. Our dog is a husky, so therefore, she is a naturally gentle and playful dog. The children always pet her and absolutely LOVE to give her treats...which Koda thrives on. :) |
