Our home is located on the border of Waterdown and Burlington along the Bruce Trail. Within walking distance to City View Park, Kern Cliff nature area, a community garden plot and the Bruce Trail. We offer fun activities, crafts, stories, projects, baking and more.
It is the goal of this daycare to provide opportunities for each individual child to imagine, explore, play, learn and grow in a loving, safe and secure home environment. Children naturally love life and are curious about everything. At our daycare we promote a fun enjoyable atmosphere and a desire for life long learning. As a child grows they move through different developmental stages. Our daycare will grow with your little one to help them develop as an individual. Social values are an important part of a child’s growth and we instil the need to love and respect others.
At this daycare we accept children of all ages and abilities. It is essential in life for us to integrate and cooperate with a variety of people. There is no better time than to start a young child off on the right path. A mixed age group can learn from each other and provide opportunities to teach other. This arrangement also closely resembles what is found naturally in many homes with older and younger siblings.
I am a qualified teacher with an engineering background. I have a valid police check and First Aide/CPR training. Our home daycare has been caring for children for over five years. Our family has three boys ages almost 6&8 and baby will be one this summer.
