Hello, my name is Laurie Marshall. My family and I live on Dominion Crescent (behind Brookdale Plaza - off of Chemong Road). I have been working with children and youth for over 13 years in treatment centers as a Child and Youth Worker and I have 2 of my own children; a 2 year old girl (Lily) and a 4 year boy (Hayden) who is in junior kindergarten at Highland Heights Public School. We have a dog ‘Pepper’ (who is lovely and doesn’t bark) and a cat ‘Cage’ who keeps to himself mostly.
We have a fully fenced backyard with a swing set, trampoline, water table, sandbox, etc. We have an above ground pool that is fully fenced off. I was a lifeguard and swimming instructor growing up so my children love the water and are already starting to swim on their own. Inside, we have a play room in the basement but we utilize the whole house. We complete weekly crafts and we like to take weekly trips to Jackson's Park, the Zoo or the Early Years Centre.
If anyone needs a care giver who is fun, patient and dependable to watch their children full time, part time or before or after school please contact me to discuss if this could be a good match for both of us.
Fees are based on the amount of hours needed for childcare and there is a discount for multiply children in one family. Evening care is negotible.
