My home can be your child's "Home Away from Home".
I am a mother of 2 and an experienced Home Childcare Provider. I am First Aid/CPR certified.
I offer a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and explore at their own pace. My home is smoke-free and I do not serve peanut or nut products to the daycare children or at all during daycare hours.
My program includes daily indoor and outdoor play, walks to the park, story time, crafts, singing and dancing, free play with an assortment of toys including educational toys, playdoh fun, painting (with brushes and fingers), parties for special occasions and birthdays. We also learn the abc's, 123's, cutting with scissors, tracing numbers and letters, etc... The goal is for each child to "just have fun", while learning at the same time. Children will learn through play and interaction with each other and myself.
Children are given positive reinforcement and there is plenty of praise for good behavior and "please"s" and "thank you”s".
I am willing to assist with "potty training" in co-operation with parents.
I provide a healthy meal and snacks. Lunches are very often "hot" lunches and Homemade. Breakfast can be provided if required. Please enquire if need be.
I provide references upon request and receipts are given at the end of the year for taxation purposes.
