HELLO! My name Lena. I am a Mom of two children a 13 year old girl and a 9 year old girl. I have an extensive background working with children from ages 8 months to 4 years old and have run a successful home daycare here in Milton and Brantford for the last 10 years. I have established a strong foundation within the community of Brantford where my husband and I now reside in.
I currently have 2 Full Time spot available to start September 2020.
My husband and I made the decision to move to Brantford to give ourselves and our children a calmer sense of life away from the hustle and bustle. We want to give our children the opportunity to grow and build new friendships.
I know first hand how difficult it is to leave your child in the care of others, especially with someone you don't know. My philosophy is to treat each child as I would want my own children treated. I provide a happy, safe, clean and comfortable environment for your children. I provide nutritious meals that are all homemade and preservative free, following the Canada Food Guide. Our day consist of outdoor play, arts and crafts, music, stories, games, educational activities, and outings, all while ensuring each child is treated with kindness and respect. I recognize that each child is different which is why I believe children learn better in a small group. I embrace the needs, and skills of each individual child, so that I can help to ensure that they are happy and that their full potential is met.
I am certified in CPR, first aid and have successfully completed my police background check. In addition, my home has been inspected by the fire department, is up to code and meets all safety requirements.

In addition to Full Time Daycare I also provide preschool with a focus on developing the basic fundamentals of learning. Along side you, I will teach your child (children) numbers, colours, shapes, picture recognition, manners, safety and boundaries. I also include Pet Education, as we have two dogs that have both been raised with all the kids and are trained.
Tax Receipts will be provided at the end of each year.
