Quality, home-based childcare provided by two certified and Registered Early Childhood Educator. Located in a smoke and pet-free environment within the East York area of Toronto. Both are trained and certified in CPR/First Aid and have a clear police reference check. Both have worked previously in a licensed childcare setting (with WoodGreen Community Services) for more than five years.
Children will learn through play-based, emergent curriculum which will include activities that foster development in all areas (Cognitive, Social, Emotional, Communication/Language and Physical). My home care follows the ELECT (Early Learning for Every Child Today) framework.
Our daily routine consists of a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack, two separate outdoor periods, planned activities which include art, science, and music/dance, free play, circle time and occasional trips to local schools, parks, community centres, fire hall, police station, etc. as well as walks to drop off/pick up children from local schools (Diefenbaker and McGreggor). Spaces are available immediately. |
