I currently look after an 8 yr old boy (just before school), a 4 yr old boy and his 2 yr old sister (only 4 days/week), a 4 yr old girl and her 1 yr old sister (only 12 days/mth).
My daughter is in Kindergarten and she takes the bus to/from school(Maple ridge)so I drive her to/from a nearby bus stop along with an 8 yr old boy I look after (just before school)
I have a clean drivers abstract and current First Aid/CPR.
I just had a Police clearance check done this last fall as I had to get one done in order to volunteer at my daughter's school.
I get a new background check done every 2 yrs but I update my First Aid/CPR every spring.
At the parents request I can get a drivers abstract done every year however that is another thing that I get done every 2 yrs on my own.
I have a 6 yr old female cat and I don't smoke.
I live next to a big field and a fun playground in a quiet cul-de-sac.
I like to bake and do various crafts with the children.
I provide breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks.
My hours are M-F; 7am - 5pm. I don't charge late fees as we cannot control weather, traffic or transit.
I have an assistant who is with me about 2/week, only in the mornings.
My rates are:
F/T care: $700/mth for 4-5 days/week
P/T care: $35/day
Before/After school care: $450/mth, includes PD days and school holidays such as xmas.
Before/After school care rates apply for those children who are in school F/T.
Summer vacation rates for children who are in school F/T would go up to $650/mth.
I offer a reduced rate for preschool as well. The reduced rate, per child, is: $350/mth
I take 2 weeks (paid) vacation usually one week before Christmas and my other vacation is oct 18-22.
Any other vacation I take during the year I would deduct those days from the childcare fee.
If you take vacation those days would be deducted from the childcare fee.
(I require 2 weeks notice for vacation and if 2 weeks notice is not given those days will NOT be deducted from the childcare fee)
Sick days are not refunded as we cannot predict sick days.

Admission conditions
I would prefer children who do NOT have nut or lactose allergies please.
If your child goes to preschool I would prefer the morning sessions as I have one child who naps in the afternoon.
