Garderie D’espoir is a home daycare run by Geneviève and her family.
We believe children learn best through play and exploration. With this in mind our program provides a balance of quiet, active play, and 1-2 rest times during the day. Each child is unique and special and our environment supports this by providing developmentally appropriate activities. These activities include developing language (French and English), literacy, visual art, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, math and science.
We serve fresh home cooked and/or baked meals and snacks from local and/or organic ingredients.
A Bit About Us
Geneviève speaks, reads, and writes both French and English. She speaks to her 3 daughters (twins @ 1 year and 1 @ 2.5 years) exclusively in French and has years of experience babysitting, tutoring and educating children. She has CPR certification and will be getting First Aid certification shortly. She will also hopes to be starting online French ECE courses in September. She loves arts, crafts, cooking and baking fresh, local and organic meals and snacks.
Geneviève’s supported by her family:
Celeste, her mother is a retired nurse with experience in pediatrics. She is here in the afternoons Monday-Thursday.
Colin, her husband has a lot of experience working with children at summer camps and after-school programs. He is here Monday-Thursday mornings and all day Friday and Saturday.
All of us have clear Toronto Police Reference Checks for the vulnerable sector.
