About the Provider:
As part of lifeguard training, I have completed 3 lifesaving courses and thorough first aid certifications (CPR).
I have worked with children and child literacy programs for almost my entire life.. as a peer mentor, co-op student, volunteer, or as a paid private tutor as I went through school myself. When my first child turned a year old I decided to start providing home daycare to be able to stay home with him and welcome new friends for us to play with. It is now 5 years later I cannot tell you how rewarding it has been for me, as well as my kids who have made wonderful friends. Working with children and giving them a safe, creative place to be themselves is something that is very important to me.
About my Daycare:
I have a large, multi-level updated heritage home which provides different spaces for some of the activities we do, as well as quiet nap areas. We visit our local library, parks, and rec center when weather permits.
We have a non-smoking, pet free and peanut free home (my oldest son has an allergy).
I include everything in my daily fee that your child will need besides diapers and a change of weather appropriate clothes, all outings if they have a cost are covered by me. I also offer special rates for siblings who attend full time (4 days or more per week).
