I have been providing daycare from my home for over 19.5 years.
I have a Social Service Work Diploma and a Sociology Degree.
I am CPR and First Aid Certified.
I provide Healthy Snacks and Meals.
I am available to do before and after school care as well as full days.
My daycare children and I love to bake(which helps teach hand/eye co-ordination, as well as math skills, not to mention it is simply fun.) We enjoy gardening, going to the park, mini field trips, (grocery store, hiking, beach, animal farms) and we love reading and listening to music! We love arts and crafts, even the ones that get us messy...as long as you bring spare clothes :)
Our backyard has room to play and climb as well as dig in the sand box. The children really enjoy helping with the garden whether it's planting flowers, weeding (which usually means pulling out my flowers, or helping in the vegetable garden). We are outside as often and for as long as possible each and every day.
I have cared for children with diabetes, epilepsy, and autism.
I have taken in children as early as 4 months of age, and cared for children up to and past 12 years of age.
I love what I do, I am extremely passionate about it, and plan on doing it for many, many more years to come! |
