New home daycare in North Ajax (Nottingham - Westney Rd & Rossland) opening January 2012 for children aged 12 months - 12 years. Bright and cheerful environment with educational and age appropriate activities. Run by a mother of two school age children, Honours B.A. and First Aid & CPR "C" certified.
Fun play areas including Thomas the Tank Engine train table, Hot Wheels, dinosaurs, Lego, dress up, doll houses, castles and Barbie's. Arts & crafts area with painting, colouring, Play-Doh, pastels, and fun crafts. Small children's library with lots of great storybooks and readers. Daily story time.
Outdoor play in safe, fenced backyard. Beautiful park and playground nearby within very close walking distance.
Educational activities and pre-Kindergarten academic preparation for preschool children including alphabet, numbers, shapes, colours, & word recognition. Daily circle time. Fun monthly themes such as pumpkins, bats, leaves, etc. that inspire discussion and learning.
Homework help and supervision will be provided to all after school children.
Optional Friday pizza lunches. Monthly newsletter will be provided that will feature the crafts, activities and books that will celebrate the upcoming monthly theme.

Special Note to Parents: Your children will be extremely well taken care of. Both of my children are in school full time so I will be able to devote my complete attention to your children. There are only a very limited number of spots available since I want to give your children the best possible care and attention. The daycare will be on the main floor of my home which is very bright with lots of windows, immaculate and very spacious. The daycare program will contain an excellent balance of structure and learning activities, as well as free play and outdoor play.
