I am currently accepting applications for summer daycare in my home for up to 3 children. I have 2 children of my own-a 14yr old son and a 6 1/2 month old daughter. We reside in the school district for Grant Alternative and Pinecrest Public Schools (we live diagonally across from St. Paul’s High School).
Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm. Full time and part time spots are available - a minimum of 2 days is required for part time and if you’re looking for a couple of hours last minute (24hrs notice must be provided), that will be acceptable and my rate for that is $10/hour.
Rates are as follows:
• $30/day up to age 8
• $20/day ages 9+
• $35/day for siblings TOGETHER (NOT SEPARATE) for FULL days
• $20/morning OR afternoon
Early drop off and late pick up are possible for an extra $5. Receipts will be provided; there is no subsidy available.
There will be nutritious snacks provided, arts + crafts, walks, etc. I have a small to medium sized dog (part Schnauzer and part Boston Terrier; weighs less than 30lbs) so what I ask is that your child comes for a visit first so that he/she can meet my dog and vice versa. She has never attacked anyone at all and is up to date on all of her shots (paperwork can be provided if required). Please note that this is not a nut free home so if your child is allergic to Peanut Butter, etc this won’t be a good fit for myself and your child.
Please ensure that your child enjoys walking as we will be doing a lot of it. The following will not be provided:
• Sunscreen
• Special diet (if your child requires one)
• Towel (for when we go to the splash park)
• Change of clothes
Your child must be self sufficient as well (seeing as I have a 6month old), outings will be based on weather and other factors as well as how long we’re outside for. With “self sufficient” being said, they must be able to go to the bathroom on their own, etc. Obviously if we’re in a public place, I will accompany them into the washroom. -There will always be 24hrs notice if we have an outing to a museum, library, etc that requires travel on OC Transpo.
Admission conditions
**Must love animals; I have a dog and will provide papers (if required) to verify vaccinations, etc (she has never attacked anyone before and is less than 30lbs)**
**Contracts MUST be signed upon agreement between myself and the parent(s). Please note that there will be NO EXCEPTIONS to alteration of the contract (terms MUST be agreed to in order to receive child care).**
