Hi! I'm Ms Jamie and I have been providing a fun, loving, and nurturing environment in my home daycare on the Central Hamilton Mountain for over the past 13 years.
I aim to offer the type of loving care that your child would receive, if you were able to be at home with them.
I aim to create a creative, fun, educational and loving atmosphere therefore my daycare offers child led play through monthly theme based educational programming including fine motor, dramatic play, sensory and creatives.
I believe in learning through interactive play, reading, and a stimulating environment. I like to empower children to learn how to make decisions, to build self-respect, confidence and self-esteem.
In a typical day we enjoy lots of theme days, indoor play, sensory play, circle time, reading time, music time, age appropriate activities, arts and crafts, outdoor play, nap time and much more.
I have a large nature filled fenced-in yard with many outdoor toys and an assortment of fruit trees and a veggie garden that the children are able to learn about, watch grow and enjoy.
I provide hot, well balanced home cooked meals and snacks.
I am cloth diaper friendly!
I teach the children sign language to help encourage communication.
