Hello, my name is Eglee but most of the children and the parents I have worked with call me either Tia Eglee or Mrs. Barrios.
As you may already know, home daycares are allow to care for a max. of 5 children.
I will limit the number of children under my care to 3max.
as my goal is to provide a high quality program that allows rhythm and flow in the child's day.
I really enjoy working with children; the spontaneity of young children brightens my day!
I have a lot of experience, both as a mother and as a childcare provider. I have been a mother for 19yrs and I have 9 years of experience combined as home daycare provider, community centre educator, ECE educator and as a supply preschool teacher.
I offer circle time, singing, nursery rhymes, finger play, story telling, picture books and creative movement. Math games, puzzles, building and drawing.
Daily outdoor play, weather permitting.
Qualifications:
*Otherwise Approved ECE status from The Ministry of Children and Youth Services of Ontario two years in a row.
* P/T student at the Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin College.
* Waldorf Workshop for Parents and Educator’s of children 0-7yrs old.
*University backgroung in Engineering.
First aid/ CPR, police record check, smoke-free, pet-free home with lots of sunlight, indoor and outdoor space.
Fees:
Morning only 9am - 12noon $25
All day 9am- 3:30pm $50
