Hello everyone, I have opened my own private, west side, dayhome. A little bit of information about me, I am a married mother of two boys, 2 & 4. My goal is to be able to operate a small dayhome and help other parents, while at the same time being able to be there for my own children in their important younger years and still financially contributing to the family.
A little bit of information about the dayhome, I am private, non-smoking, do have one cat but he can be contained if needed. Neither myself nor my husband have a criminal record, or a file with childrens services. There is a spacious fenced in yard with lots of outdoor activities, as well as separate spaces for each child's nap time, should that be required. I have experience with children that have autism as well, so that wouldn't be a problem either. There is a "schedule" for each day, but I still keep in mind that these are children we are talking about, not businessmen! It does include such activities as free play, story/reading time, snack time, a learning/exploring time, lunch time, outdoor play and crafts. I do like trying to incorporate learning into play time, but I still like to keep in mind that children like to have fun. Right now I am looking into children of all ages, full or part time, from 7 am until 6 pm although if needed I can be flexible. Full time-$660, part time-$475. Discount for siblings, and works out to a free week every 3 months. |
