My name is Nidia! I was born in Costa Rica. While living there i used to be a primary school teacher.
now I am an experienced caregiver that has been working with Andrew Fleck Child Care Services since 1998. I was also a stay at home mom and raised two children, they are now in University -- so working with children was always in my nature.
Some of my qualifications include:
- First aid
- Nutrition specialist / food safety
- home safety specialist
- event planning
- Workshops completed in :
parent partnership , nutrition , music , crafts , literacy, potty traning, language development , child abuse awareness, (more available upon request)
While In My care ...
The children experience a variety of activities; each age group is accommodated for example:
Monday & Tuesday the children attend the public library for story time in English and French
Wednesday playgroup is held at the Aladdin Community center
the remaining days the children enjoy circle time, crafts, musical workshops and trips to the park.
Every day the children receive two healthy snacks and a well balanced lunch (following Canadian food guide standards)
***I am also Bi-lingual (Spanish & English)
and subsidy is available for those who qualify
