My name is Malika, I am an experienced mother of two daughters (19 and 23y). I am patient and hard working, I have experience working with children of all ages. I have been a caregiver for the Children's Village Of Ottawa-Carleton agency for over 10 years. I am currently running a home daycare.
I have the following training and certifications;
- CPR/First Aid
- Always up to date criminal and backgrounds check
- Guiding Children's Behavior Workshop
- "For the Love of Children" Workshop Certificate
- Parenting and Childcare Provider Workshop
- Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) & others
- I'm also a CCPRN member
There is a park and elementary school just literally steps away from our home, as well as several parks around the surrounding area. About 3-4 times a week the Children are brought to a play group to interact with other children called "Parenting and Family Literacy Center" just steps away on the same street.
