Hello fellow parents,
After nine years in the field of quality Child Care and Education, I am excited to announce that I have just opened my own center in my home for ages 1-3. If you are looking for authentic quality care for your child, you have found the place. I have my Early Childhood Education with Special Needs Diploma and my Degree in Child and Youth Care Counselor both from Douglas College. I have studied Early Childhood Education in Reggio Emilia, Italy which is known for having the highest quality Child Care System in the world. I have also taught Early Childhood Education courses at Native Education College.
The field of ECE is my passion in life. I am a member of many advocacy groups working towards affordable and accessible quality care for families. I am in process of becoming registered with Child Care Resource and Referral Program. I can promise you I will provide a safe and exciting place for your child to grow and become the confident, capable and independent child to their fullest. I believe in providing quality materials that stimulate their senses and imagination, taking pride in my environment and creating respectful relationships with the children and their families. My environment is rich in aesthetics, I believe in exposing children to culture and a wide variety of art, and nature.
I have great references and a well established resume. I am a Mother of a one year old and have recently went through the child care search myself. It inspired me to follow my dreams and open my own to help other fellow moms who are struggling with finding care for their precious loved one.
