I have been running my established Dayhome for over 3 years in SW Calgary, but we're MOVING TO AIRDRIE!! I have experience with all age groups from infancy to school aged children, and have decided to run a Before and After School Care, exclusively. I have excellent references, Child Care Level First Aid & CPR, and Police Clearance.
I run a semi-structured program. Our daily activities will include; Arts & Crafts, Outdoor Play, Free Play, Puzzles, Afternoon Weather (Date, Season), Theme Days, Theme Months, Circle Time, Individual Workbooks (Alphabet, Counting, Problem Solving, Simple Math), Homework Time (Optional - Parents decision), and much, much more! I provide breakfast and after school snack. My rate includes PD Days with breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. My rate also includes one full week at Christmas Break, and one full week at Spring/Easter Break with all meals supplied.
My Before and After School Care will open May 1, 2012 in Williamstown, Airdire. There is a bus stop in Williamstown that I would bring the kids to, that accomodates children attending Muriel Clayton, Nose Creek Elementary, Our Lady Queen of Peace, and Ecole Edwards Elementary & Ecole Edwards Middle School. Also note that we are located one block from the future Williamstown School (opening December 2012).
