I am a mother of 4 beautiful children, ages 13 months, 2 1/2 yrs, 4 yrs and 15 yrs old. I have decided to resign from my job with Public Health to stay home with my children. I am a former Paramedic with the City of Ottawa and have 15 years experience raising a child with Autism and ADHD.
I currently teach Sunday school for 6 month olds to 4yr olds and have done a lot of babysitting in my past. We are a food allergy-friendly home, as I have 2 children with life-threatening food allergies.
My goal is to provide a fun, loving, nurturing and safe environment where your children can be themselves, while encouraging sharing, mutual respect, manners and most of all, having fun together.
Our days will consist of both indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting). We have a large fenced-in backyard with a sandbox, trampoline, swing set and many toys. Indoors, we have a dedicated playroom with a variety of toys for all ages and a library of books. Activities will include colouring, puzzles, story-time, crafts (age appropriate), play-doh, etc. We will also attend playgroups, play dates with other children of similar ages and go on the occasional outing. There are numerous parks around my neighbourhood and many wonderful walking trails.
I am looking for either 1 full-time or two part-time children to join my 3 little ones. There is some flexibility in my hours should you require a different time. This can be discussed once you contact me.
