I have a full-time/part-time position opening up in my at-home daycare starting in February 2012.
I have had a daycare in my home for 5 years, 4 years registered with Global Child Care. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have an up to date background check.
I have 3 children of my own (aged 2, 5 and 10yrs) and currently have a wide variety of ages in my care (4, 7, 8 x2, 10, 11 x3 and 13yrs), most of which attend Fallingbrook Elementary School. I also have access to St Francis of Assisi buses.
We are a very active group, spending a great deal of time out of doors, on field trips and outings. We do many activities in the house too: singing, dancing, games, reading and art. I offer healthy snacks and lunches.
I enjoy running a daycare as it allows me to use my degree in teaching. I am kept on my toes by the antics of all the kids; they frequently make me laugh. This is a challenging yet extremely rewarding job. I do have several older children in my care, who are very self reliant and enjoy helping out with younger ones.
