Booger rant

Today I have 4 little constantly streaming noses...anyone know of a good Kleenex sale somewhere?!?!?!? It's my new booger aerobic workout;) Oh what a year we've had. I swear I've tried to imagine how to fasten a kleenex box somewhere on my body so I always just have one! It's my first year as a provider and the little ones are new...that and my DCKs are all children of teachers...so we get germs from 4 different elementary schools to share as well. Wish I had a magic healing wand to get everyone healthy...all at once! Thought I'd share a little song I sing in my head that I've intitled "we're going on a booger hunt".

I buy and stock up on Puffs when they go on sale at either Canadian Tire or Walmart.

An apron...what a great idea! I will probably feel like my grandmother wearing it, but that would sure save the clothes and provide a place for all those kleenex ;) I like the booger song too...I have had many many days like that this winter. We all just got over something and it seems some of the kids are now coming down with another one...oh joy! I buy my kleenex at Costco...it comes in huge quantities.

Oh I feel your pain ... I am recovering from double pneumonia cause after a month of chasing green snotty noses around my immunity finally 'succumb' to whatever hell they were all brewing and went on strike apparently!

Skip the kleenex and put a role of toilet paper in every room you go in with the kids. 3 sheets of 2ply folded over twice is the right size to swipe and just thick enough your fingers don't go through. Lasts a lot longer than tissues for sure and a ton cheaper. As far as softness goes never had an issue and besides you aren't really wiping the nose as much as you are wiping the chin and area between.

I had two children home sick today and 2 more here with a cold and I have a cold, only one healthy child in the house. The weather has been hot/cold/hot/cold and I think it really wears our immune systems down.

LoL. Nice song, though. I agree with the toilet paper idea. I stopped buying "Kleenex" ages ago.

Okay ladies I love the apron idea!!! So many pockets! I'm armed and ready for booger patrol with a few stickers and gummy bears for on the spot rewards...okay boogers, bring it on:)
