Need some advice,

At the moment I have two infants (11 months and 9 months). They're both taking two naps during the day from 10-11:30 and 2-4. It's just the way it's been working out. I made a mock-up schedule for new parents, and I have it down that naps are from 1:30-3:30.

How do you work it out when you have infants sleeping in the morning?

Put them down earlier in the morning - the morning nap is simply a quiet recharge time and can happen anytime really - if they arrive at 7 realize they were up after 6 so down at 9 is still 3 hours so nap is 9-10:30 or 9:30 - 10:30 depending on how much they need. Then that gives an activity time from 10:30 - 12:00 till lunch the whole group can do and some use this for going outside. Afternoon nap then is the same for everyone.

Yup - I am with Playfelt .... my morning nappers have to have one where they are up from it by 9 am or they get offered on the fly ... aka in the stroller at the park from 9 to 10:30 at the latest.

I get parents to try to drop the morning nap before the children start here with me, even if they are 10 or 11 months old. It's worked so far. But I have lunch at 11am and naptime shortly after 12 noon when I have little ones this age. Then I nudge the naptime back toward 12:30 as they grow a little older.

Once in a while when we are out the babies will fall asleep in the stroller for a short morning nap but I don't mind if that happens.
