Hey there!

I have a Tike Tech Double Trouble Jogging stroller from 2002-2004 time frame. I want a rain cover for the thing, but Tike Tech doesn't make their strollers that big anymore. I don't want to buy a new stroller, cause this one works wonderfully, and it was free! Link of stroller: http://www.amazon.com/Tike-Tech-Double-Stroller-Blue/dp/B000067UXF

Do you know of anyone that has a rain cover big enough for this beast? Or are there any patterns out there for rain covers? I've asked my mom if she could make one for me, but she's better at following a pattern than going from scratch.

Any thoughts?

About the only thing I can suggest is getting an old cotton sheet and draping it over and tucking and pinning to get the shape you want and then cut the sheet apart as pinned. That will give you the pattern base but then add a seam allowance to account for the amount lost from cutting on pin line if that makes any sense.

I had the same problem I bought a baby trend side by side jogging stroller. I was able to buy a generic rain cover on ebay works awesome!!! Try that!

Hey inkpen - they're actually too small - have tried that. I'm just not going to have a rain cover. I no longer have school aged children as I filled up my daycare spots with infants and toddlers!

Nope, it doesn't! I called Tike Tech personally, and the model/year that I have is much bigger for the newer models rain cover. BOOERNS!

But like I said above, I won't be going out in the rain this upcoming year as I won't have school-agers anymore!
