How do you charge for b/a school kids who come for a PD day? Is it an additional full day fee due the day of care? Or is it your full day fee minus the per day b/a school fee? Hope this makes sense!
TIA:)

For School-Agers, IF I have a space for them during PD Days, I charge between $40-45/day. Otherwise when they're here before and after, it's $20/day.

You have to remember, they're going to be there ALL day, eating 2 snacks and a lunch. Also, you have to keep them quiet during quiet/Nap time!

Hope that helps!

I charge for a full day that day, just as I would if the school aged kid was a baby in my care. I charge before/after fees for the other four days, then full day fees for that PA day.

Thanks for the reply! So for a PD day do they pay the $40-$45 in addition to the $20, or instead of the $20 for that day? I think that the fee should be in addition to - so it should cost $60-$65 for that PD day. But I'm not sure if I'm way off base:blink: :o

Why should they pay two fees, though? They should be charged fees for a full day of daycare, not the before/after care fee.

Right, not both fees, that doesn't make much sense. Have a seperate fee for a PD Day, and B/A school.

They would pay the full day rate instead of the b and a rate.

Thank you everyone. I've revised my policies and contract. I guess I was getting a bit ahead of self there:o Thank you for probably saving me a client!
