I am on Mat leave but have been advertising my daycare for a few months to see who's looking. So...a lady has emailed me at least 5 different times with some variation of " rates????". Despite my annoyance with rudely worded emails, I have responded politely each time with my rates. We made arrangements for an interview after her last email. She was a no show! Guess who just emailed asking my rate???? Ha ha ha! Happy Halloween!
Oh I would definitely take her on as a client, she sounds wonderful :rolleyes::laugh::ee k:

Well Wonderwiper, you are learning about something we call RED FLAGS!!! It's definitely important to learn that lesson BEFORE you sign on the wrong families. You are doing the right thing by always being professional when you respond to a family, but when they start to make you bonkers it's ok to hit delete sometimes, just saying!

At this point I would polietly say "Hi JANE, as per our past 5 emails, maybe we can reschedule the appointment we had for XXXX to maybe Next Tuesday 7pm? Look forward to re-connecting with you"

I have encountered that as well.. I once had a interview and the woman replied to my same add again the next day looking for care saying she had interviewed someone but the hours of care available did not suit her needs.. Umm we have already covered this and the hours are clearly stated in all my adds.
I agree hit delete and move on!

Ha ha ladies.....of course I would never consider her, just makes me giggle! That's why I started advertising so early.....this place is polluted with crazy people!!!!! Have a great day everyone!
