Good Morning,

I have someone that may want two spots for their children - a 3 year old dcb and a 1 year old dcg, both for full time. I usually ask for a 2 week payment non-refundable deposit to hold a spot from a family. I have never had siblings here and not sure if I should be asking for just the regular deposit of $350 or since they have two children asking for two deposits? Please help :) Thanks!

What do you apply the deposit to - first weeks, last weeks, just collect it to cover time till family starts.

Generally the rule is if you are booking two spots you pay for two spots. Think also of it down the road if family leaves you will suddenly have two spaces open so even more important to have something set aside for those weeks.

It goes towards the first two weeks of care. Thanks playfelt, that helps :)

Yup ... it does not cost any less to provide care to siblings so the fees and rules for fees are the SAME regardless over here as well .... if you are holding two spots and they pull without starting that is TWO TIMES the income you have been without between them accepting the spot and changing their mind so you should have at least TWO security deposits to discourage them doing just that! Also as Playfelt mentioned siblings are a larger financial risk at the end of care as well.
