Has anyone had any experience with the Parent's Registry?? I wonder if it will take off. Would parent's really leave comments on past providers if they know we can look the comments up and read them.

What does everyone think??

I thought the parent's registry was for providers to comment on the parents...but then I thought I saw something like you need to have their permission first...not sure how it works really.

This was my understanding as well ~ and well what parent is going to give you permission to 'warn' other providers about them?

Parents can already leave 'ratings / comments' on providers accounts on here unless the provider turns that feature off on her ads.

When you sign in to the members area to update your ad the link to the parent directory is on the left hand side after you've signed in under the 'management console'.


Parents registry

The parents registry was designed to help childcare providers share facts about clients they did business with, be they positive or negative (ex. parents helping out with outings or making late payments). If you're considering taking a new child in your daycare, don't hesitate to consult the registry.
