Isn't it amazing what a treat a little card or note in the mail (as in snail mail) is nowadays? I received the sweetest note today from a daycare mom of my first little one to 'graduate' from Home Daycare and on to JK.
"**** just received her report card and we spoke to her teacher. She is just doing excellent in all areas. We know that a lot of the credit goes to you in working so hard with our strong willed, very independent daughter. You made learning so fun for her. Thank you so much and know that you are very much appreciated!"
Wow, that means so much. Trust me, I vented many times on here ladies on this child! But she turned into a great child for me (& for her teacher so it seems).

It's great to know that our hard work is appreciated, huh? What a great thing! You should be proud!

That's so nice. I get videos from an old client of her little girl and all the rest visit regularly. It's a good feeling knowing that they care enough about the time their children spent with me to stay in touch so I can see them several times a year. My little boy who graduated for JK in Sep. keeps asking his Mom when the next PD day will come so they can come back.

Awesome ~ those are the little things that go a long way to reminding us WHY we do what we do making that difference by investing in those challenging children and pushing them to be the best they can be than seeing them thrive for it!

How nice to think she still thinks of you after her little one has moved on. You must have done a great job, not to mention left a mark on the child and them, makes it all worth it!:flower:
