Not going outside today.
I had a meeting with my new family to sign my contract this morning so we didn't make it outside. Then we had lunch, and its now quiet time. At 2:30 my b&A kid will arrive and his dad informed me this morning he will be here at 3pm to pick up. so no time to go out when he gets here. My dcg is picked up anytime between 3 and 6pm and has been coughing up a storm for the last hour. So I think we will all just stay in today. Besides its cold out :p and I don't like the cold. We have been out every day this week, so not to worried about one day.

dcb who's 3yr in two weeks has been on my nerves...I mean I'm starting to NOT like him at all. He cries at everything and isn't active. He will sit on the floor in the same position all.day.long if I let him. My daughter wanted to play tickle game...so we did. She went to go get him, dragged him by my side and said "****** play with mommy". He started crying and I didn't care, I told him to just go sit down again. I FELT like saying "you're so annoying, just go away".
It's so hard when they make it hard!

I am in Ottawa too and we did not go outside today because it was -18 with the wind chill this morning...too cold for the little ones and past my cut-off for save outside play for the one year olds.

I get it Mamma, have had many over the years that I try so hard, but just can't find that connection, just smile when you can bare it, and walk away when you can't!!! It is Friday. yay!

I made today a PJ day today. We also had breakfast for lunch :) We are all in comfy clothes and pulled out a couple tents to play in. Turned off the lights and they went beserk! A really relaxed day and to top it off, its my pay day!

DCB who is almost 3 1/2 is often lazy to use the potty. He knows what to do. He's done it numerous times...yet when he is involved in an activity he does not want to give up he will do it in his pants. He will then come to me to change his diaper, announcing he needs to be changed NOW!

This morning I let him sit in his poop for 20 min. before I changed him. He was whining and complaining. Yup. Little stinker. He told me he didn't want to leave the train set to go to the potty. I told him I did not want to stop playing in the doll centre with the others to change him. All the while grabbing his tushie and complaining. Yup. That's why there's something called a toilet which you are very familiar with. Next time use it.

No Outside time here either. I took advantage of it and am speeding through my Christmas crafts and it's not even Dec yet! One already picked up and another at 3:30. I don't plan to do the dishes until tomorrow... Tonight's date night. woo hoo! Happy Friday everyone.

:)This is turning into a nice Friday:)
my dcg's mom just came and picked her up (not happy she came during quiet time), and with my b&a school kid being picked up at 3pm today, Its a realy nice Friday.

We are off to either Oshawa or Pickering tomorrow for the day. Meeting up with my husbands 2 brothers (from Windsor). My husband is on holidays next week and my dcg's mom just informed me that her daughter will be off all next week:D, but since I am open I still get paided.:D this is a very nice Friday.:)

I let one of my 15 mo's cry for half an hour. I never do this. I am bitchy from pms, have wicked anxiety about the Bieber concert tomorrow, and I just want to go to bed and watch movies.

It's a PA day here. I have six kids downstairs, and I have no craft planned for them yet. I need a hug.

We didn't go outside yesterday or today. One of my almost two year olds hates her mittens and refuses to wear a hat so she spends the entire time outside having a fit, not worth my time and energy. She is not here today but it was too damn cold with the wind chill. I did some Christmas crafts yesterday but did nothing today! Happy Friday! Lots to do this weekend but at least I can do it in peace!

Have a house full of grumps here today so hiding out on the computer and giving babies longer naps mostly. I am getting stared at a lot by the 3 year old. If I ask her to do something she just stands and stares at me expressionless as if she has no idea how to process what I just asked - can you say overtired brain. Needless to say cleanup for lunch was a long drawn out disaster after even having moved it all up to account for the tiredness. Hoping this isn't the start of what it will be like as the Christmas season gets into full swing and kids are out and about in the evenings and overrun with activities on the weekends. Could be a poor crafting year for sure.

Only have one DCK today plus my own two ...so what did we do ? Absolutely nothing.., just playing together, coloring and after lunch I treated them with a cartoon and hot chocolat. I got to fold my laundry wash my bathrooms and living room. So less to do over the weekend. Cheers to a nice Friday and a GREAT weekend !!

The stomach flu has hit the daycare and I have 1 on vacation ... so I only had 1 boy today and we packed up and went to playgroup and than he helped me plan next weeks menu by himself since his friends are not here he got to pick their favorite lunches for them and we made a list and got the shopping done as a treat ~ he loved picking out all the fruits ... shopping can be such an awesome educational experience sure it took us an hour and a half with him picking all the stuff and checking it was 'good' but now I do not have to do it on the weekend so HAPPY FRIDAY INDEED ... he is still napping so shortly I will have to wake him up cause we made some gluten free chocolate chip cookies before nap and they are nice and cool now and if I do not get him up soon i will eat them all :o

I did the same as Reggio. Only ended up with one so we went to the fruit and veggie market. They have a 1/2 price sale on EVERYTHING for 3 days and given my busy weekend I had no idea when I'd get there. :) My other confession is that after that, I let him play all day, since he's my favourite (ooooh, the "f" word) and is so content doing his own thing using his imagination. I feel like I had the day off!

No outside time today and did an easier lunch than listed on menu. Eggplant looked bad enough that I didn't even want to eat it. Banana bread, fruit and yogourt much tastier than the purplish-grey mush we were going to have. We did extra crafts though, so I'm not a total sloth this time :)

That's it for confessions....

I had all 5 of my children here today and we sang about a million Christmas songs and danced but watched out the window while the snow fell in the -7 C degree weather with a high wind and stayed inside toasty and warm. Then I was really tired and didn't have the energy for a craft so I just let them colour while I made lunch.

Thank goodness my new baby slept a full 2 hours so I could have my quiet break today because he hasn't slept over an hour all week. There is so much stress in my life this past month that I'm very, very glad to say goodbye to November!
