Good thoughts for a Friday ???

Its Friday, one week left before Xmas Vacation, I finally figured out what to do as Xmas gift for parents from children... why am I feeling down,... maybe because I haven't had any calls for my 2 open spaces after the Holidays... huh I dont know :( Anybody has good thoughts for this Friday ??

I have a very busy Friday... I have 4 today! ( I normally only have 3 on a regular basis and usually 2 on a Friday ) Plus one of them is staying until 11 tonight! Don't worry, they're paying for it. And I'm making the best of it. To bed by 7 then take out an a movie for me. I'm actually looking forward to it!

Happy thoughts indeed...Next week for me is a 4 day week M-Th and then off for 17 days YIPPEEEEE!!

Today we are putting finishing touches on some of our crafts and fingers crossed my telephone interview goes well and I can schedule and interview for either this evening or Monday. I'd love to do it tonight and get it out of the way.

This is also my husbands last day at work so I am very happy for him as he starts work at his new job Monday working for an International Corporate company thats really hard to get in with and he will be the first ever employee in Ontario so I am super chuffed for him. I can brag about my hubby as well as my kids can't I?? LOL

Things not to think about right now...Huge totem Pole I have to build with my daughter this weekend!! What are teachers thinking setting huge assignments at this time of year :/

Its naptime now and its starting to smell like Friday ;) Cant wait to go out for supper tonight with my hubby and my girls... every Friday is a must, to get out of here !!!

Don't worry, you will fill the spots. I don't think many people are looking for daycare during the holiday season as they are busy with all their holiday business. In January when things calm down, you are sure to get some calls :)

well, i only have my son and the sweetest 18 months old EVER today! yay for friday!
Plus in one week from today i have an ultrasound! that's awesome! :)

And dont worry about your spot... I have the same thing here! Its a very slow season i guess! :/

Happy Friday for sure! We have been extra busy this week, with all the extra crafts for Christmas and Extra outside time, the kids are really enjoying sledding in the back yard and just getting out and about. Going out twice a day and all the extra crafts has been fun, but tiring too!!!! :) Hope you get your calls just wait and be patient, something good will come along.

Filler up vibes ~ beginning of January is typically a busy time for clients looking for spaces cause no one wants to commit to daycare right before a two week vacation of school break and so forth!

TGIF not sure about your neck of the woods but it is GORGEOUS here in my region and we enjoyed a long morning outside and are heading out as soon as they decide to wake up ~ extra fresh air has pooped my 3 boys out it seems!

Hey for the weekend ~ I cannot believe we are celebrating my stepsons 16th birthday this weekend ~ seriously was just yesterday he was turning 4!!!

Here's my happy thought: I was done work by 4pm and the 3 little ones that were here this afternoon slept almost 3 hours. That was to make up for the morning when I started out with 5 children and two of them got sick and had to be sent home. Now I'm just crossing my fingers and sending out a prayer that the rest of us don't get the flu all weekend, gulp!

Happy Friday All! One more week to some time off :thumbsup: Next week is my d/c Christmas party. My hubby will be taking half day off to help and do the Santa thing. I'm going to have my glass of red wine now. Cheers!
