Ugh.... first interviews tonight, in over 2 years. I didn't think I was nervous, but my stomach is tied up in knots. So I must be, LoL.
Wish me luck!!

I spent all night going "oh, I forgot to mention...!"
But all in all, they went well. First family has contacted me to say that they feel good, they just wanted to see my policy handbook. I have emailed it to them. Seems like a pretty decent fit, too.
Second family was a little more vague. I got the feeling that they liked me, but maybe didn't love me. And that they were still looking, which is fine with me. (especially since they asked if I was flexible with my closing time!!)
We shall see....

Flexible with your closing time? Cross them off the list! After people leave from an interview I always send a thank you email with the contracts and forms attached so they can read them over at their leisure. I don't give out paper any more. That also gives me an opportunity to tell them a couple things I forgot. I do the same as you, think of a couple important things after they leave that I didn't cover. It never fails.

Yay glad it went well.
I have done the same thing where I wake up in the middle of the night thinking "eeeeks I forgot to tell them all about ......" Then I analyze it for days and days afterwards and drive myself crazy.
Hopefully the first family comes money in hand for you soon

That's a great idea about emailing the contracts instead of handing out paper. I was finding that I was wasting so much of my paper by giving every family this long contract and policy handout. I'm definitely going to just do that next time.

Well, got an email from the second family this morning. They would like to go with me as their provider!
I am feeling pretty good about it, because the only red flag I really got was that question about flexibility on closing time. I have it noted in the back of my mind, though. ;)
Mom was pretty quick to say, "Oh, I figured, but I told hubby I would ask".
So, between 3 p/t families, I think I will perhaps fill one f/t space and be done!!
Yaaayyyyy.
