Hi just wondering whether anyone has some good ideas for Father's Day. I have been searching Pinterest high and low but just can't seem to have anything really jump out at me.
I am looking for inspiration and thought maybe we could share.

last year we made t-shirts for each dad with each kid's footprints and it said "My kid walks all over me."

The year before that I took 3 pictures of each child so that it had 1 picture with the kid holding the letter "I" Then the next picture "Love" and the 3rd picture said "U". They were a big hit. I glued them onto some card stock and each child drew a picture on the back. Rave reviews

Mother's day and Fathers Day seem like a lot of pressure:blink:

For Mother's Day, my son (in JK) brought home a little wooden picture frame with his photo in a heart and his handprint beside it on the wood. I am hoping to find those frames at the dollar store and do that...probably add a magnet on the back to stick it to the fridge.

I like doing food presents for father's day. Like Homemade BBQ sauce in jar, along with a basting brush that the kids can decorate themselves (using a plain wooden paintbrush).

Last year we made Dad's cookies and put them in little wooden treasure chests the kids had decorated.

This year I am going the easy route...I had a coupon for Michaels and they have travel mugs that you insert a drawing in the outer clear layer ($6.99 each, I believe)...very cool! I love the idea of the card with the I love you pictures...going to borrow that one:)
