Vacation Time!

I am so excited to start my vacation! I am taking 2 wks off (unpaid). This is the first time I have taken off since I opened in Feb (no sick days, personal days).

My one daycare family brought a gift yesterday with a sweet card. They are amazing and it feels nice to be appreciated. It can be hard without coworkers or supervisors giving you feedback on your work.

I have a light day on Fridays (just 2 kids plus my 2) and the one kid left early due to a Dr. appt and the other girl is leaving early today as well...oh happy days!

I didn't take vacay this summer. Instead I took 5 personal days spread out. So, at least I have the long weekend ahead of me.

I love early Fridays. I have 3 on Friday plus my own kids. My kids went to their dads already, 2 out of 3 have already gone early. Just one left. And he's such a great independent player... thank goodness!

Enjoy your time off. I and dh just came back from a week in Maine. Love going on vaca but I also enjoy coming back home though my 18 yr old daughter did text us before we came back that it would be o.k. with her if we stayed away an extra day LOL (we didn't)
