I'm disappointed To hear on bill 143.
This does nothing both ways. No justice for the parents whom have lost their child in unlicensed Child care.
I think we all need to become licensed home childcare.
I've been licensed with a company since 1998 when halton region decided to end the subsidized contracts with private home childcare.
I decided to keep my contract to offer subsidized spots by finding a company who will pay fair and who help me offer the best care I can to all parents that step in my front door.
This bill will never stop one from providing less cost daycare.
I've seen way too many unlicensed daycare over ratio.
What Ontario needs is to open a department to go out and actually fine and or shut down ones that's need to be.
We don't all need to suffer.
This bill is a joke. I have been doing daycare for over 16 years.
As a parent and a provider outrageous Fines will not stop anyone.
But one thing I do agree on if your not license your own children should count in your numbers if they are not school age children.
