Tax Person In Gta?

Does anyone have an accountant that they have used in the past that is familiar with claiming the home daycare branch, that they can recommend? I opened in September, so this will be my first year claiming taxes and I keep hearing all of these horror stories are the accountants not claiming everything or not claiming percentages correctly.

Any leads would be wonderful!

I know someone in St Catharines...not GTA but extremely thorough so worth the drive depending on where in the GTA you are. You would probably be able to scan and email or fax stuff over and then just go to review and sign if you wanted to. Let me know if you are interested and I will PM you their contact details.

I used to use someone in Oakville but their firm closed and I was recommended my new accountant and they are so much better.

Thanks bright sparks. Unfortunately, I am even further from the GTA, and was willing to drive the distance to the GTA for a good accountant. Bummer

ttremble88, do you have a resource centre in your region? I would imagine they would have someone they could refer you to or a notice board where you could put up a wanted sign which other providers would see and then could get in touch with you with a referral??

Oh my goodness, thank you so much LoveKids! You have used him in the pass I am guessing? Also, does he have an email? It is my first time doing the taxes so I want to make sure that I have everything the way he wants it before I call and set up an appointment.

Not sure where you are TTremble88 but I am in Durham Region and have found an amazing girl who is doing mine for $350. First year in business as well.
