For those who have a hired helper, in my case, a lady to walk the school age children to and from school, what type of format have you used when receipting them? I do not know if it has been a reallly long day, but I cant get the wording correct. It sounds weird.

Any suggestions or opinions?

No. I was told that I can type of a receipt and when I pay her at the end of the month, get her to sign it, and that would count as a receipt. I am not sure what info to include (her name, dates of service and amount...anything else?) and how to word it.

Oh, and it needs to say that it is for the daycare children.

I am just having trouble writing it out in a formal fashion.

She should be providing you the receipt. Even if you write it up for her but it should come directly from her. It could be something as simple as...
$amount received from (your name) for school walking services for (children's names) on (list dates).

Thanks DCMG. I think that is why it was sounding weird for me, because I was typing it from my perspective. Like I said, yesterday was a long day...lol. Thanks again
