I'm just curious what time you serve your snacks and lunch?

Currently I have always served mrng snack at 9 lunch at 11:30-12 and aft snack at 2:30. I am now staying open until 6pm so I'm not sure if I should push back my aft snack.

TIA

I am open 6-6. I serve morning snack at 9am. But it is something very light. Lunch is at 11:15. I serve early for 2 reasons, I have a lot of slow eaters and nap time is 12:00 sharp. I serve a LARGE lunch and ensure that everyone is full. Afternoon snack is at 4pm, that way my b/a children are here and I do not have 2 separate snack times

When I worked 730-530, I did am snack at 9, lunch at 12 and pm snack at 3. Now that I have later kids and normally work 730/820-415ish, I do am snack at 930/10, lunch at 1130/12 and pm snack at 3

Thanks, I usually pick my boys up from their bus stop at 4:00 and I am home about 4:20... Perhaps I will have snack all ready to go for then. I'm asking also because it looks as though I may be getting an after school child.

We have morning snack at 10, lunch at 12 and afternoon snack at 3:10. When I had before and after school children I never supplied snack, their parents did and the kids ate it on the bus ride home.

Snack at 9, lunch at 11:30, afternoon snack at 3:30

In the summer I will probably move am snack up to 8:30 or lunch back to 12 so they get more time outside.

I serve breakfast at 8:30, then I don't have to pack anything while we go outside all morning, lunch at 11:30 and afternoon snack at 3 or 3:30 depending on how long the children sleep.

My kids are all 12-16months and all do 2 naps a day. I do morning snack at 8:15. They nap from 9-10. I do lunch at 11:15. I do a mini snack at 12:45 before their 1pm-3pm nap and then a snack at 3:15 shortly after waking. My kids have huge appetites and I find having them go from 11:15-3:15 is really hard on them.

I expect they will start to transition to 1 nap and that will likely be an early nap starting at 11:30 so I keep my lunch early now in preparation for that.

I found waiting until after we bring my daughter home from school was too long for the smaller kids, so I have started either feeding them snack before we leave to pick her up (3ish) or, packing snacks they can eat on the way, including one for my daughter to eat as we walk home. That way, when we get back it's free play until parents come!

All my dck's come either at 8 or around 9. We do the walk to the school and spend rest of the morning outside or at playgroup, so usually by the time we get home, there is time to do a quick craft or activity, some playtime and then lunch at 11:30. Then we have snack when we come back from the school in the afternoon around 3:30.

I find kids are more thirsty when they get up than hungry so I always gave the little ones a drink of milk or bottle for some when they woke from nap and then when school kids got home we did snack with the little ones getting juice or water - juice was considered ok back then. Haven't done school age kids for over 10 years. But yes the little ones would never have survived waiting for big kids.
