Fall theme sensory activity

Just wanted to share - we collected fallen acorns this morning (my yard is covered with them) and then brought them inside to use as the basis of a sensory bin. They each got their own tray with the acorns they picked and played with them using spoons, cups and plastic eggs. They are thinking this is the best activity ever!

Now I need to think of an art activity to use with them for next week.

That sounds like fun !!! I found a cute craft to do with pine cones because we found a ton of them on our walk but the kids had soo much fun just playing with them that we havent even thought about using them !! :)
