Ugh. Does anyone else find that they have to "reset" some of their kids sometimes on Mondays?
Today has been one of those days. I'm now enjoying some blissful quiet time. :)

Saturday was a full moon - I can tell! LOL everyone was very tired today so glad it is nap time and they are actually sleeping very well (knock on wood).

Yes, 'Monday reset' is an actual thing!
It happened here yesterday. the whole morning and nap time was not fun around here.

I find that 9 times out of 10 my daycare kids nap better on Mondays. They can be a bit overtired, tearful or grumpy, but a good routine and predictability tend to do the trick and if push comes to shove, I just serve lunch a little early and they take an earlier nap. Very rarely do they wake up earlier than their usual time either so Mondays can end up being a great day here, unless we actually want to get anything achieved that is. Snacks, Lunch and naptime are kept regimented, but otherwise Mondays tend to be a free play kind of day and it seems to work best for all.

Agree brightsparks...as much as sometimes Mondays can be difficult if the kids didn't get much sleep on the weekend, I find I can always rely on at least some really good naps from them! I have one dcg who consistently has a huge nap on Monday and Tuesday, and the rest of the week naps are shorter. Lol
